Richard McKay Conducts Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra
Richard McKay was invited to conduct the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in March, as part of a conducting seminar presented by Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and led by Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya. McKay returned to lead a performance of Beauty and the Beast with FWSO in October 2016.
While at the seminar, he conducted Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Symphony No. 2 by Johannes Brahms, Symphony No. 9 by Antonin Dvorak, Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev, Italiana Overture by Gioachino Rossini, and Symphony No. 4 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
