Richard McKay Joins University of North Texas Arts Entreprenuership Panel
Dallas Chamber Symphony conductor Richard McKay has been invited to speak at the University of North Texas‘ Career Center’s Arts Panel, Exploring Jobs in Arts Management, Administration and Entrepreneurship for the Visual and Performing Arts, before an audience of undergraduate and graduate students in the arts.
The program addresses careers in arts administration for both the visual and performing arts. Arts leaders from Dallas/Fort Worth area institutions will give an overview of their daily responsibilities and how their work contributes to the success of their organizations.
Panelists include: Shirley Reece-Hughes, Associate Curator, Amon Carter Museum of American Art; Beth Taylor, Director of Talley Dunn Gallery; Heather M. Kitchen, Managing Director, Dallas Theater Center; Richard McKay, Artistic Director, Dallas Chamber Symphony; and Vance Wingate, Visual Artist, Gallery Coordinator at Texas Woman’s University and Founder of Gray Matters Gallery in Dallas.
